He is survived by: his wife Sarah E. "Libby" Whaley of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Alissa Elliott (Lane) of Lineville and Drew Smith of Hogansville, GA; his great grandchildren, Tate Elliott and Chet Elliott; and his sister Diane Jones of Georgia.
