She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Reed Burson and Mavie Dean Bailey Pinkard; her stepfather Hoyt Pinkard, Sr.; and her sister Denise Burson. She is survived by : her husband Ronald M. Cosper of Roanoke; her siblings, Donna Burson Waugh of Franklin, GA, Darlene Burson Shoemaker of Franklin, GA, Hoyt S. Pinkard, Jr. of Roanoke and Tony Burson of Franklin, GA; her niece Maria Tucker; her nephew A. J. Pinkard; her great-nieces, Victoria Tucker, Anna Tucker and Alexus Pinkard; her great-nephew Tobin Pinkard; her cousins, Margaret Mitchem, Cathy Rogers, Robin Langley and Carolyn Blythe; her aunts, Mildred Smith, Joyce Hall and Betty Bailey; and her uncle Vinson Bailey.
