He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sims and Mary Lemerle Pike Sims; his sister Sherri Traylor; and his granddaughter Adriana Sims. He is survived by: his daughters, Taylor Giles (Kevin Giles) of Roanoke and Tonia Sims (Chris Cone) of Roanoke; and his grandchildren, Abriella Sims, Greyson Sims, Victoria Sims, Jayden Giles, Branden Giles, Rosemary Giles, Emmanuel Giles and Gabby Giles.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
