It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Shelnutt (Roanoke, Alabama), who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. I. "Doc" Landers and Emily Hamlin; her husband Owen N. Shelnutt; her siblings, A. I. Landers, Jr., James Raymond Landers, Annie Laura S. Denney and Cleo Christine Landers; and her niece Jane Landers McPherson.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Sam Shelnutt (Janie) of Roanoke and Joe Shelnutt (Ginger) of Granbury, Texas; her grandchildren, Chase Shelnutt (Meg) of Andalusia, Wade Shelnutt (Rebecca Goodman) of Opelika, Savanna Shelnutt of Ithaca and Kyla Shelnutt of Granbury, Texas; her great grandchildren, Owen Davis Shelnutt and Mary Arlen Shelnutt; and her sibling's children, Patricia Culbreth, Jimmy Landers, Bob Landers and Dave Landers.
