She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barner and Artie Brown Fincher; her husband Amos "Smokey" Farrar; her daughter Tina Pender; and her siblings, Donnie Fincher, Voncile Cummings, Barbara Blackmon and Vernette Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Wellborn of Roanoke, Angela Oberts of Roanoke and Sherri Simons of Roanoke; and her sister Linda Thomas of Roanoke. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
