It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Farrar of Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barner and Artie Brown Fincher; her husband Amos "Smokey" Farrar; her daughter Tina Pender; and her siblings, Donnie Fincher, Voncile Cummings, Barbara Blackmon and Vernette Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Wellborn of Roanoke, Angela Oberts of Roanoke and Sherri Simons of Roanoke; and her sister Linda Thomas of Roanoke. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
