She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Earl Grant and Frances J. Neimeister Grant Copeland; her husband C. L. Scott; her son Douglas Tomczek; and her sister Juanita Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jordan of Roanoke, Carolyn Barth (Garin) of Columbus and Gerald Scott of Roanoke; and her grandchildren, James (Brittany), Joseph, Ashley, Michael (Rachelle), Stephanie, Andrew, Valerie (Shannon) and Damen (Cassie). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ms. Patty's memory to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Big Springs Baptist Church Sunday School Fund and mail to 319 College Street, Roanoke, AL 36274.
