He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffrey Swisher and Pauline Swisher; his siblings, Mary Ida Ansley and Johnathan Swisher; his son Jacques Marcoux Swisher; and his stepdaughter Jana Lawson.
He is survived by: his brother Daniel Swisher; his children, Paul Swisher Jr. (Theresa Swisher) and Mary Swisher; his stepson Billy Betz; his grandchildren, Lauren Bonaventura, Amanda Swisher, Jennifer Hanson, Jessica Gambino and TJ Lawson; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Swisher, Aubrey Storbeck, Kelsey Storbeck, Daniel Singletary, Hannah Widemann, Anthony Sheerer, Gary Hanson, Jakob Sheerer and Roscoe Gambino.
The family requests in lieu of gifts that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mr. Swisher's name.
