He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Donald and Minnie Willbanks O'Donald; his wife Peggy Johnson O'Donald; and his siblings, Steve O'Donald, Jerry O'Donald and Thelma Hazel.
He is survived by: his children, Nikki Cothran of Roanoke, Melissa East of Heath Springs, SC and Brandon O'Donald of Roanoke; and his sisters, Hazel Kirby, Bertha Langford of Tennessee and Sharon Byrd of South Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
