She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley (J. W.) and Mattie Lou Barfield Foster; her husbands, Frank Carruth and Paul Mickle; her son Gregory Lee Carruth; and her siblings, James Foster, Ruby Pendergrass, Louise Flynt, Helen Hazel and Neva Talley.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Carruth Bowles of LaGrange, GA, Melinda Morrow Smith of LaGrange, GA and Radney Lee Carruth of Five Points; her grandsons, Ben Bowles, Bryan Bowles and Brandon Wright; and her sister Anne Nelson of Fayetteville, GA.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
