He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Rowe and Elsie Scott Rowe; his siblings, Jackson Rowe, Virginia Kelley, Rebecca Tillis, Gloria Dean Wright and Mary Ann Hodges; and his brother-in-law Emmett Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hodges Rowe of Roanoke; his sons, Jody Rowe of Roanoke and Corey Rowe (Amber) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Chancelor Rowe, Alana Wright, Rebecca Rowe, Kylie Rowe, McKenzie Rowe and Ethan Rowe; his great grandchild Shawn Wade; and his sisters, Nancy Smith of Roanoke, Donna Bozeman (Jim) of Roanoke and Wanda Barber (Jimmy) of Roanoke.
