She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Jan and Joyce Loraine Ives Lanting; and her brothers, Mark and Timmy Lanting. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Prescott of Roanoke; and her children, Kelly Sharpe (Chris), Valerie Boss, John Prescott (Brenda) and Bert Prescott (Jan). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
