She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie P. Keenan; her father James Ward Simms; her grandmother Lula Black Simms; and her in-laws, Ruben and Eloise Keenan.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Lynne, Jennifer Ruth and Benjamin Ward. She is also survived by her daughters, her son, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robertsdale Public Library.
