She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosea Calhoun and Ruby Ramsey Calhoun; her husband Leroy Adamson; and her siblings, Margaret Harlin, Avis Taylor and Tony Calhoun.
She is survived by: her son James Thompson (Gayle); her grandsons, Scott Thompson (Stephanie) of Rock Mills, AL and Jeff Thompson (Christina) of Rock Mills, AL; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Thompson (Katelyn), Tayla Thompson, Maison Thompson (Aliyah), Kasidy Rose Thompson and Britten Thompson.
