He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolen Waites and Artie Waites; and his siblings, Mary Sue Law, Betty Jean Spraggins and Douglas Waites.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Waites; his children, Kevin Waites (Teresa) and Amy Waites; and his granddaughter Kaylee Beasley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weogufka Family Worship Center (20771 Coosa County Rd 29, Sylacauga, AL 35183). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
