She was predeceased by: her parents, Erman Robert Bradford and Minnie Alice Sims Bradford; her husband Lester H. Brooks; her siblings, Erman Robert "Bud" Bradford, Jr., Beulah Stough and Viola Clark; and her grandson William "Will" Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Martinez (Richard) and Mike Brooks (Patsy); her sister Venita Stith; her grandchildren, Seth Brooks (Karrie), Leslie Owens (Brock) and Cade Brooks (Mackenzie); her great grandchildren, Tanner, Emery, Renee Owens, Tyson, Koen Hicks, Hannah Cate, Robert "Bo" and Katherine "Kat" Brooks; her nieces, Brenda Key, Deborah Wilkinson and Cynthia Bradford; and her grandchildren, Todd, Terri and Tracy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the McConnell Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. She worked at RSVP from 1985-2015, where she worked for Betty Ruth Oliver.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children's of Alabama or Ronald McDonald House.
