George Herbert Pittman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Herbert Pittman of Rosinton, Alabama, who passed away on June 2, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pittman (Joe) and Jimmie Lee Jordan Pittman; and his siblings, Jimmie Dee Pittman Price (Mardis), Rudolph Pittman, Irene Foley Harmon (late Wash Foley) and Voncile Myers (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Donna Boswell (Bobby), Peggy Duck Branch (late Jimmy), Jo Anne Stapleton (Cliff) and George H. Pittman, Jr. (Kristina); his grandchildren, James Robert Duck, Jr., Melinda Harville (Scott), Robert Boswell, Jr. (Catherine), Austin Pittman (Heather) and Cody Pittman (Lilah); and his great grandchildren, Hayden Harville, Mylee Harville and Cameron Harville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
The hardest part for George and Ruth during the Covid Crisis was missing all their dear neighbors and friends.
Upon George's request, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to Pittman Memorial Community Cemetery, sponsored by area churches, in care of Director Al Clingan, 29533 Co. Rd. 64, Robertsdale, Alabama 36567.
