It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Burns Thompson of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clinton Thompson and Adle Thompson (Mayfield). He is survived by : his children, Troy Thompson (Wendy), Kyle Thompson and Kym Thompson; his grandchildren, Justin Thompson (Caroline), Bailey Thompson (Brooklyn), Kesli Thompson, Austin Thompson (Kalyn), Aurora McKinney, Ashton McKinney, Autumn McKinney and Abigail Roberts; and his sisters, Betty Smith, Sandra Marshall, Mary Edwards and Vickie Lambert. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
