It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Jack Masterson of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Martha Fay May Masterson; his grandson Rhett Masterson; his parents, Tommy Masterson and Sadie Masterson (Stewart); and his sister Syble Lamar.

He is survived by : his children, Greg Masterson (Kathy), Tim Masterson, Jeff Masterson (Leah), Joey Masterson (Wendy) and Lori Masterson Malone (David); his grandchildren, Erin Singletary (Jack), Julie Russ (Matthew), Jill Baker (Luke), Tate Malone, Grant Masterson (Aspen) and Abbie Malone; his great grandchildren, Gabby Singletary, Charlotte Russ, Olivia Russ, Shepard Masterson and Blake Peebles; and his sister Methel Stringer. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Alabama or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
