Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mert Belle Angus of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 87, on January 25, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Jeffreys and Georgia Portwood; her son Frank Angus; her siblings, Coy Jeffreys, Lorn Jeffreys, Kenny Jeffreys and Connie Scott; her grandson Michael Angus; and her close friend Ron Snarski.

She is survived by : her children, Dean Angus and Diane Hamilton (Robert Nichols); her sisters, Charlotte Moon and Pam Green; and her grandchildren, Leo Angus, Aimee Hamilton, Amanda Hamilton, Jeremiah Jansen, Matthew King, Billie Jansen, Jodie Boyles and Ryan Angus. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
