She is survived by: her children, Vernon Hood (Aliene), Janice Miller, Elaine Phifer (Jay) and Terry Hood (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Tina Copeland (Marvin), Tracey Cook (Barry), Shannon Phifer (Christie), Darron Hood (Andrea), Stephanie Phifer, Sommer Jackson (Corey) and TJ Hood (Jayme). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel/ Funeral Home (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653-2625). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
