She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Moses and Ethelinda Merchant Cotton; her husband Rev. Coy Haney; her daughter Barbara Gail Haney; and her siblings, Cecil Cotton, Earl Moses Cotton, Jr. and Margie Ellen Gainey.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Rouse (Fred) of Dothan, AL, Ruth Jett (Owen) of Albany, GA, Patricia Burns (Danny) of Sunny Hills, FL and Norman David Haney of Samson, AL; and her siblings, Marie Hightower of Tallahassee, FL and Henry Wilmer Cotton (Alice) of Tallahassee, FL.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family kindly requests those who are planning to attend the services for Mrs. Haney to please wear a facial covering and practice social distancing due to the ongoing pandemic.
