It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Money (Sand Rock, Alabama), born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on March 13, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husbands, Rufus Hester and Hobart Money; her brothers, Elmer Shaw, Ernest Shaw, Alvin Shaw and Folden Shaw; her grandson Scott Hester; and her parents, Eldon Shaw and Nora Reagan Shaw.

She is survived by : her son Larry Hester (Cathy) of Centre; her siblings, Roy Shaw (Nancy) of Cloudland and Ada Roe of Centre; and her grandchildren, April Johnson, Lisa George and Buddy Hester. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
