He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Melvin Farmer and Pearl Lee Cain Farmer; his children, Paula J. Brightwell and Darrell D. Farmer; his siblings, Melvin L. Farmer and Betty Farmer Fowler; and his pet Buddy.
He is survived by: his partner Christy Whatley; his children, Deborah D. Allaire, Kathryn E. Henderson and Randall P. Farmer; and his brother Kenneth D. Farmer. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ascension Funeral Home & Crematory (1016 Hillcrest Rd, Mobile, AL 36695). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
