He was predeceased by : his wife Pauline Frances Allen; and his daughter Juanita A. Alexander (Robert). He is survived by : his parents, Eugene Allen and Frances Allen of Satsuma; and his grandchildren, Jo Ann Allen, Alphonse Allen, Betty L. Hall Frederick (Michael), Marie A. Lovett (Charles) and Willie J. Allen (Theresa). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, monetary and blood donations can be made to the Red Cross.
