He was predeceased by: his father Fredrick Leslie; his son Gary Michael Vest; and his sister Billie Self. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Vest; his daughter Donna Fredrick (David); and his grandchildren, Tara Crowell (Chris), Gene Mitchell, Shane Vest (Joann) and Misty Fower (Cody). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
