It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard W. Posey (Scottsboro, Alabama), who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Rosie Fanning Posey; his siblings, Evelyn Sims, Arvell Posey (Elizabeth) and Orbery Posey; and his brother-in-law Henry McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Frances Posey; his sons, Larry Posey (Dixie), David Posey and Mike Posey; his grandchildren, Rick (Kim), Kenneth, Dustin (Joan), Daniell (Chris) and Deanna; his great grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Kyle, Brandon, Larry, Kaylee, Colton, John, David, Dillion and Kylynn; his sisters, Ruby McCormack and Ruth Hinshaw (Jay); and his brother-in-law Clark Sims. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
