He is survived by: his wife Donna Knight; his children, Jimmy Gentle and Brooke Allen (Tim); his grandchildren, Syndi, Jaxson and Jake; and his sisters, Lynn McCrary (Wade), Donna Woodard (Tony), Janet Thompson and Reba Brickley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
