With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Laughlin of Salem, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Burt Laughlin and Martha Pearl Taylor (Spurlock); and his grandmother Claudie Pearl Spurlock. He is survived by : his son Jonathan David (Traci); his wife Benita Ann Dawson; his children, Cortney Wilson (Craig) and Tesa Warren (Lewis); his grandchildren, Brooke Jordon (Josh), Jonathan David Laughlin, Jr., William Ray Laughlin and Kalynn Michelle Laughlin; his children, Coleman Jay Warren, Craig Wynell Wilson and Baby Warren; and his siblings, Burt Laughlin (Dana), James Laughlin (Peggy), Terry Laughlin (Gerry) and Tammy "Renae" Tutor.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
