He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack B. Corbitt and Norma Ruth Vance Corbitt. He is survived by : his wife Anna M. "Peggy" Corbitt of Seale, AL; his sister Theresa Corbitt of Seale, AL; his daughters, Eva Strachan (Daniel) of Seale, AL and Theresa Steinruck (Joseph) of Seale, AL; and his grandchildren, Edward Edwards, Jr. (Veronica), Tiffany Lamb (Wesley), Christopher Cragle, Jr. (Deanna), Ryan Even, Jr. (MaryAynne), Murron Even (Codey), Izzac Steinruck and Gabby Steinruck. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.
