He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Goodman and Susie Goodman; his wife Paula Goodman; and his siblings, Sarah Julian, Irene Campbell, Jimmy Goodman, William Goodman, Tommy Goodman, Buford Goodman, Harvey Lee Goodman and Barney Goodman.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Folkes (DeWayne), Roxanne Brewer (Dickie), Shelley Julian, Marilyn Ellis (Gabriel) and Obie Wayne; his granddaughters, Tina Owens (Johnathon), Jessica Julian, Elizabeth Julian, Destiny Carter (Bradley) and Tori Folkes (Reid Smitherman); and his siblings, Edna Mae Pierce and Junior Goodman (Betty). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc. (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
