He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonnie Maybelle Gannon and Barney Wilson Gannon; his siblings, Jimmy Gannon and Diane Gannon; his aunt Annie Overton; and his uncle Forrest Overton.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Taylor Gannon; his children, Dennis Michael "Mike" Gannon, II (Donna), Shawn Taylor Gannon, Lisa Gannon Gould (Keith) and Julia Michelle Gannon; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gannon Green (Allen), Hugh William Gould (Jessica), Chase Michael Gannon (Haley), Taylor Calvin Gannon and Josilyn Michelle Willis; and his great grandchildren, Braylen, Judson, Saylor Green, Eva and Bella Lee.
