He is survived by: his parent Thella Goodwyn; his husband Mary Goodwyn; his children, Janet Goodwyn Cart of St. Simons Island, William Vincent Goodwyn of Harpersville and Robert Andrew Goodwyn (Barbara) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Robert Goodwyn, Julie Goodwyn, Ben Cart, David Goodwyn (Shelby), Joseph Goodwyn, Tristan Davis and Sam Setser; and his great grandchild Reagan Goodwyn.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Meadow Brook Baptist Church, 4984 Meadow Brook Road, Birmingham, AL 35242.
