She was predeceased by: her father Rev. O. J. Stokley; her husbands, William Ollie Brown and Claude Brown Wimberley; and her mother Sally Cooper Stokley. She is survived by: her children, William Mark Brown (Angela) of Silas, AL, Marlon Jeffrey Brown (Amy) of Thomasville, AL, Ronny Wimberley of Silas, AL, Melanie Kay Brown of Mobile, AL, Kerry Fountain (Mike) of Silas, AL and Deborah "Debo" Ball (Charles) of Silas, AL; her siblings, Leslie Stokley (Melanie) of Barlow, AL, Julia Irby of Mobile, AL and Pat McRae (Paul) of Copeland, AL; her grandchildren, Anthony Young, Bethany Phillips, Cara Teal, Will Brown, Aaron Brown, Caleb Brown, Lydia Brown, Layne Fountain and Christian Cunningham; and her great grandchildren, Nellie Brown, Emery Teal, Arya Young, William Brown and Ella Teal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Church of God (161 Main St, Gilbertown, AL 36908). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to the Coopers Cemetery fund, Mark Brown, 976 Branch Road, Silas, AL 36919.
