He is survived by: his wife Loretta Meredith; his daughters, Lisa Hoffius (Peter), Michelle Chavis (Donald), Barbara Smith, Beckie Donaldson and Regina Meredith; his brother Benjamin Meredith; his half-brother Davey Meredith; his grandchildren, Madison Grace Hoffius, Austin Hovey, Andrew Hovey, Heather Williams, Justin Smith, Eddie Donaldson Jr., Jennifer Donaldson, Tyler Beard and Tristan Beard; his great grandchildren, William James Smith, Smith Williams, Anna-Leigh Williams, Lane Donaldson and Everett Donaldson; and his stepgrandchildren, Cassidy Chavis, Jordan Wells and Abigale Chavis.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glover Funeral Home (1468 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36301).
