She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Thornton; her parents, Sallie Smith Meadows and Eddie Frank Meadows; and her brother Eddie Meadows Jr. Columbus. She is survived by: her sister Janice L. Tolbert (Charles); her children, Lillie J. Meadows (Benjamin), Bobby Meadows (Winter) of Jonesboro, GA. and Barbara A. Meadows of Columbus, GA.; and her sister-in-law Sarah Meadows. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
