With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Sykes Jr. of Smiths, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia K. Sykes; and his children, Susan E. Chapman (James), Steven M. Sykes (Michelle) and Scott A. Sykes (Ashley). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Columbus Hospice.
