He was predeceased by : his parents, Martha Steelman and John Clyde Nelson Sr.; and his sister Mary Nelson Ross. He is survived by : his wife Katherine Jane Nelson of Spanish Fort, AL; his children, Kenneth Allen Nelson, Jr. (Margaret) of Petal, MS and Regina Nelson Stork (Jerry Lee Stork, Jr.) of Petal, MS; his stepchildren, Celese Bankston (Alton Bankston) of Daphne, AL and Todd Davidson (Donna) of Summerdale, AL; his grandchildren, Taylor Stork, Jon-Michael Stork, Drew Stork, Jonathan Nelson, Juliann Nelson, Justin Bankston, Matthew Bankston, Thomas Bankston, Mackenzie Kelly, Jacob Davidson and Jared Davidson; his great grandchildren, Kyle and Alexandra Bankston; and his brothers, John Nelson Jr., Franklin Nelson (Duane) and Paul Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
