He is survived by: his wife Gloria Sheehy Kent; his children, Derek Kent (Andi), Kevin Kent (Christy), Beth Prine (Casey) and Mindy Downey (Jason); his grandchildren, Andrew Kent, Mary Elizabeth Kent, Megan Kent, Cooper Prine, Addison Prine, Caroline Downey and Olivia Downey; and his siblings, David Kent (Faye), Billy Kent (Marilyn) and Madge Kent.
