It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Jeanette Long of Spruce Pine, Alabama, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Long Sr.; her parents, Luther Hargett and Rosa Lee Bragwell Hargett; and her brothers, Bobby Hargett and Ted Hargett.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Dobbs (Kenneth) and John A. Long Jr. (Samantha); her grandchildren, Joshua Dobbs (Brittany), Kelly Atkins (Nathan) and Trey Long; her great grandchildren, Titus Dobbs and Maddie Atkins; and her sister Felicia Graham. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family ask that donations be made to New Friendship Cemetery Fund or St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
