He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Taft Pearce of Sumiton; his children, Kim Abbott (Benjy) of Curry, Melissa Waid (Forrest) of Jasper and Phillip Tolbert of Sumiton; his son-in-law Doug Blackmon; and his close friend Mike Mancuso. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
