She was predeceased by: her husbands, Albert Palmer, Sr. and U. L. Smith; and her siblings, Mildred Strickland, Mable Traywick, Margaret Hill and J. D. Haisten.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Morris (Don) and Albert Palmer (Melinda); and her grandchildren, Chris Morris (Dana), LeeAnn Picklesimer (Brandon), Whitney Hampton (Seth) and Lindsay Palmer. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
