She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Giddens and Lucy Giddens; her siblings, Karen E. Tindall (George), Judith Howard and Larry Herbert Giddens; her granddaughter Bethany M. Skelton; and her foster daughter Tina Skelton.
She is survived by: her husband James Douglas Skelton; her children, James David Skelton (Katie), Kevin Michael Skelton (Tammy) and Lori R. Skelton Dawson (Brian); her sister Sara Lynn Giddens Rogers (Richard); her grandchildren, Thomas James "TJ" Skelton, Haleigh Skelton, Garrett Skelton, Memphis Skelton, Gabriel Skelton, Cody Dawson, Chloe Beck (Caleb), Sarah Irvan and Lily Dawson; and her brother-in-law Bill Howard.
