With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jessie James Thompkins Jr. of Sylacauga, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church (7300 Georgia Rd, Birmingham, AL 35212). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at the Forest Hill Cemetery (431 60th St N, Birmingham, AL 35212).
