Leora "Dolly" Giles.
Sylacauga, AL - Leora "Dolly" Giles, 83, died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie Jenkins, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Giles Sr.; two sons, Kenneth Giles, Jr., Randy (Cynthia) Giles; daughter, Tracey (Mike) Stewart; four grandchildren, Kandace (Randy) Knight, Angela (Richard) Thomas, Michaela Giles, Courtney (Bryan) Swearingen; and five great-grandchildren, Zoey Knight, Daniel Thomas, Caleb Thomas, Haley Thomas, Gryffin Swearingen.
Known as Dolly, devoted wife of 63 years, mother of three, grandmother to four, great-grandmother to five, but known as grandmother to all. May not have been wealthy in worldly goods but was rich with selfless love for her family and friends and those she didn't even know. She's now with our Lord and at peace with no suffering. Will be greatly missed but still remembered here on earth. It's not goodbye but it's see you later in paradise.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
