He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Clinton Jones, Sr. and Jean Arabella Robinson Jones; his brother David Wayne Jones; and his grandson Troy Justice Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Keith Jones; his daughters, Mandy Thornton (Patrick) and Jennifer Ellis (Obed); his stepdaughter Honey Brooke Adams; his siblings, Debbie Jackson (Ted), Ricky Dean Jones and Joey Clay (April); and his grandchildren, Tanner Thornton, Cate Thornton, Searcy Ellis and Harper Ellis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
