She was predeceased by: her parent Leslie Carnes; her husband William "Bill" York; her mother Lula Mae East Carnes; her daughter Tammy Lee York; and her great grandchild Campbell York.
She is survived by: her children, William David York (Kim), James Michael York (Eva) and Sherry Lynn Thompson (Ronnie); her siblings, Linda Faye Orton (John), Catherine Gail Paul and Larry O'dell Carnes (Verna); and her grandchildren, Christina Gunn (Brad), Keeley Michell Dasher, Lauren Taylor (J. T.), Daniell Marie Alexander (Ferinard), William Tyler York (Chelsea) and Chase Douglas York.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel (255 Friendship Rd, Tallassee, AL 36078). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
