She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Phillips; her parents, Aubrey Thornton and Eunice Thornton; her sisters, Kathleen Dean and Rebecca Stewart; and her sister-in-law Faye Thornton (Robert).
She is survived by: her brother Robert Thornton (Hazel); and her children, Janice Lock (Wendell), Connie Staudinger (Richard), Kimberly Couch (Russell), David Phillips (Stephanie) and Steven Phillips. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
