It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Hicks (Thomasville, Alabama), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank G. Martin and Celia Hill Martin; her children, Charles L. Hicks of Whatley, AL and Linda Hicks Jackson of Jackson, AL; her siblings, Dr. Royce Martin of Saraland, AL, Jean Norton of Eight Mile, AL. and Carol Carpenter of Chatom, AL; her husband Kirvin Hicks; and her son Larry G. Hicks. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
