He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie H. Slade and Clara Adell Slade; and his children, Deryke Hayne Slade and Jennifer Slade. He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Slade Jackson and Desney Slade Smith (Walter); his daughter-in-law Lynne Slade; his grandchildren, Kristen Watts (Patrick), Jenni, Hannah Slade, Matthew, Curtis and Malaine Smith; his great grandchild Greyson Slade; and his siblings, Willis Slade, Charles Slade and Shelvy Armistead.
